Izwan Ismail is the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer of Taylor’s Education Group (TEG), where he leads efforts to strengthen and modernise the Group’s technology and digital ecosystem. His focus is on building the foundations for a more connected, human-centred and future-ready experience for students, parents and staff, while advancing the role of technology in how people learn, work, collaborate and engage across the Group.

Over the past decade, Izwan has built and scaled digital ventures, products and platforms across Southeast Asia, bringing together innovation, entrepreneurship and strategic execution. He co-founded VLT Labs, which was acquired by McKinsey & Company in 2017 as the firm’s first acquihire in Southeast Asia. He also played a key role in delivering CIMB MyWealth, expanding digital investment access to millions of Malaysians. Across his entrepreneurial journey, he has also successfully built and exited ventures, including Scarlett of Soho and SUPA.
